Mandate
To provide funding assistance (to a maximum of $150.00 per member per school year to be used towards registration fees only) to District 13 TBU + PSSP members for conferences, workshops or non-credit courses. The absolute deadline for submission of Funding Request Application Forms is June 1st.
To organize meaningful professional development activities.
To co-ordinate and organize the OSSTF TBU/DDSBPD Day.

Duties of the School Representatives
To attend the P.D. committee meetings once a month.
To distribute Funding Request Application Forms to those members needing financial assistance for P.D. activities.
To check and sign these Forms, ensure appropriate documentation and then forward them to the P.D. Lead.
To collect proof of attendance (receipt) from the applicants.
To distribute the cheques to the successful applicants once the Executive has approved the requests.
To inform members of available professional development activities.
