Additional TBU Provincial Councillor Candidate Nicole Bléau
My name is Nicole Bléau. I have worked in our District Office for nine years, supporting our members through difficult times. I wish to continue to serve you as your Provincial Councillor, a position I have held for three years now. The role of Provincial Councillor is an important link between the Local and Provincial branches of our Union. The person best suited to this role is someone who understands the issues that are on the rise in Durham, and the needs and concerns of OUR members, so that OUR issues can be brought to the attention of the Provincial body. As well, you need someone who can filter through the massive amounts of information delivered at Provincial Council and who can determine what is pertinent for OUR members.
I believe that I am the best person for this job given the work that I do in our local District and my experience with OSSTF Provincial. In particular, I am the person exclusively responsible for the following portfolios: sick leave, LTD, WSIB, benefits, mat leave, District finances and retirement. It is very important for our District to have someone who works on these issues at Provincial Council. Please select the video above to see my election speech to learn more about the work I have done and will continue to do for our members in the future.
I am experienced leadership you can trust. Please vote for Nicole Bléau for Provincial Councillor.
