Mandate
To provide funding assistance (to a maximum of $150.00 per member per school year to be used towards registration fees only) to District 13 members for conferences, workshops or non-credit courses. The absolute deadline for submission of Funding Request Application Forms is June 1st.
To organize meaningful professional development activities.
To co-ordinate and organize the District 13 PD Day.

Meetings
Meeting dates for 2024-2025 include: Sept 17, Oct 9, Nov 13, Dec 18, Jan 22, Feb 12, Mar 19, Apr 9, May 14, Jun 11
Duties of the School Representatives
To attend the P.D. committee meetings once a month.
To distribute Funding Request Application Forms to those members needing financial assistance for P.D. activities.
To check and sign these Forms, ensure appropriate documentation and then forward them to the P.D. Chair.
To collect proof of attendance (receipt) from the applicants.
To distribute the cheques to the successful applicants once the Executive has approved the requests.
To inform members of available professional development activities.
